Is Aristotle one of the smartest Greeks of all time?

how could Aristotle be so smart so many years ago? people were obviously uneducated back then, there was no technology as we have it now, no google, no libraries, nothing, how could he just be so smart and invent so many things in Math, Physics and Science in general?
