If coca plants are illegal; then why is Coca Cola company allowed to import it? ?

For the same reson that poppy seed bagels are allowed. I guess crops dedicated for consumer consumption in food products are allowed to be legally imported. Even hemp products can be sold in the USA. I see hemp seed oil and hemp seed sold at organic food stores. But god forbid an American farmer wants to grow hemp, he is screwed, only Canadian farmers can grow hemp I guess.
